High Blood Pressure

Blood pressure relates to the pressure of the blood in your arteries. Hypertension is high blood pressure and it means the blood is pumping through the arteries at a higher pressure than normal.

Generally someone has Hypertension if their blood pressure readings are 140/90 mmHg or more. 

If someone has high blood pressure then they are more likely to experience life threatening health conditions such as a heart attack or stroke.

Diet and lifestyle changes can play a part in helping to reduce your blood pressure.
